Yes. Pro Studios offers you the option of Hollywood black & white style or color photographs in each of your poses.

Do I have to make an appointment?

Appointments are made to ensure that we are fully prepared for your Photo session.

How many weeks in advance do I need for an appointment?

Although we frequently have appointments scheduled a month or more in advance, we will often have openings in our schedule to accommodate many clients’ needs to shoot “as soon as possible”. So if you need to shoot right away and you have some flexibility with regards to the day or times you can shoot, call us at 0407 936 745.

Why a deposit for booking a Photo session?

All appointments require a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the photo shoot package. Whenever an appointment is made, the time scheduled becomes committed to the person making the appointment. That block of time becomes off limits to anyone else seeking to make an appointment at that time. It means that if you cancel, not only we will not receive full payment for the time we’ve committed to working with you, it also means that there is almost no possibility of us being able make up for our loss by “selling” that block of time to someone else. A non-refundable deposit deters people from casually cancelling the time they have committed to. Cancellations and “no shows” are very hurtful in that they directly result in a loss of time and money.

Why a rescheduling fee?

In the same way that cancellations directly result in a loss of time and money, the act of clients casually rescheduling their appointments is also detrimental. The rescheduling fee exists to deter casual and unnecessary rescheduling. Rescheduling can be done without penalty up to 7 days before your photo shoot is scheduled. If you give us at least 48 hours notice, we charge a small fee of $25 to reschedule. If you provide me with less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged a $75 rescheduling fee.

What about cancelation of photo session?

Cancellations prior to the day of your shoot will result in the loss of your deposit. Cancelling on the same day of your appointment or failing to show up will result in a charge for the remaining balance for you scheduled photo shoot.

Is Pro Studios only for women?

No, we also specialize in photographing business executives, high school seniors, children and families. We shoot all kinds of photos, for all kinds of clients, to meet all kinds of budgets.

How long does it take to see my proofs?

What is included in a Photo session?

A Pro Studios Photo session begins with a personal consultation with a professional artist photographer to determine your best look for your portraits. Next, relax and let our professional photographer bring out your best in a spa-filled photo session.

Before the photo shoot.

Stay healthy, and get a good night's sleep. Try not to party the night before the photo shoot, if you are tired it will show both on your face and in your attitude. For most fashion shoots do not wear underwear, socks, or tight fitting clothes. Anything that presses on your body will leave red pressure marks which often can take up to one hour to go away. Also remember bras are usually never worn for fashion shoots, they leave undesirable lines.

What happens on the photo shoot

As soon as you arrive we will start by planning the shoot and discussing what look we want to achieve. I can set the lighting, background and surroundings to help set the stage for accomplishing your look. We work together to prepare your make-up, hair, and the right outfit for the shoot.
You have a dressing/changing/make-up room with bathroom to ensure total privacy while preparing and changing outfits, Then will we will start taking shots in digital format with deferent setups, lighting and outfits, you can change wardrobe as many times as you like, yours or studio's, and lastly, at the end of the photo shoot which could last up to 4 hours you will be presented with a CD with the best 50 high resolution edited images. Some times I might have to ask to leave the images with me so I can work on them digitally to enhance them, or to remove any unwanted details, this is also part of the service.

On location and in the open

Photos out in the nature, e.g. at the shore of romantic waters or in the shade of an old tree certainly are part of the most popular motives. But also other - more unusual - locations are possible: in the kitchen or in the bathroom of an appartment, in an old dilapidated castle, in an industrial factory building, in a oldtimer car or railroad carriage...
Thanks to mobile equipment there are almost no limits to your fantasy. Let yourself be advised!

Hotel session

The exclusive facilities of a first-class hotel suite (or the romantic shabby ambience of an old hotel room...) offer attractive backgrounds which are used with pleasure for varied, lifely art nudes, boudoir, and lingerie photos.

We can always arrange for a make-up artist and hair stylist here at the studio for an additional fee, but you may need not to have one, there may be times when the make-up has to be done by yourself before or after you arrive at the shoot. Here are some tips:

Foundation

Before buying foundation, sample it on your neck, as opposed to your hand. The shade of your hand is different from the shade of your face. Also, test the foundation in daylight for colour accuracy. If your skin is problem-free and you desire a little colour, try a tinted moisturizer.

How to make foundation to spread evenly

Moisturize the face well. Apply foundation before the skin absorbs the moisturizer. Do not put much foundation, it will make your make-up look heavy.

Eye shadow

Eye shadow that is vivid in colour is best with nude lips and minimal colour in the cheek - too much make-up can be overwhelming. Some eye shadow colours work better than others, depending on your eye colour or skin tone. Dark-skinned women should veer towards light colours in eye shadow, such as yellows and browns. Be careful not to choose a colour that is too pink, it can make you look tired. Eye shadow can also complement eye colour - blue eyes look fantastic with grays and browns, green eyes are most flattered by golds and yellows, and brown eyes are best suited to golds, grays and blues.

If you wearing contact lenses

Put the contact lenses in first before you apply make-up. Use cream (eyeshows) rather than the powder ones which can often disturb the eye if they get under the eyelids, I recommend waterproof cosmetics.

Emphasize your lips

Use dark rich colour lipsticks to emphasize the lips. Purple, dark red or maroon lips are very sexy and eye-catching. Do not use very dark colours, if you have small lips, it would make them look even smaller.

You do not need to blot your lipliner, lipstick or lip gloss unless there is an excess.

Colour for your lips is an individual choice – there are no rules, simply suggestions. Dark colours are best for dark skin tones. Oranges may not be flattering on everyone. Bubblegum pinks are generally reserved for the young. Berry shades work on almost everybody. If you prefer a brighter or deeper shade of lipstick, keep your eye make-up to a minimum. A little gloss is the best thing for those who like to accentuate their eyes with heavy eye shadow or eyeliner.

Hair style

In a photo shoot the hair style is as important as the make-up. A lot of women will spend countless hours on make-up, but they will neglect their hair, leaving them to look very unattractive and boring. You don't have to be every day in and out of the hairdressers, this days you can get almost everything you need from shops to be able to achieve the look you desire. Perms in the eighties were huge but now are back again, so why don't you try to achieve that big wavy look, it looks romantic, glamoures and sexy. So., someone who has straight hair and little time of commitment, can achieve something like that.

How long does it take to receive my photo package?

Typically digital images are available instantly at the end of your photo session, but do allow 2 to 3 days for the CD and the prints to be ready for any retouching that need to be done. Other services including prints up to A0 size on paper or canvas please allow 1-2 weeks.

I'm nervous enough about having my picture taken; how will I feel if I'm in lingerie?

Many people can be, at least initially, uncomfortable in front of the camera; it's 100% normal. But my experience has shown that my professionalism will guide you through the process. Plus working in a familiar environment (rather than an unfamiliar studio) can help put you at ease.

Is my privacy and my photographs secure?

We maintain the security and privacy of all clients photographs. After shooting and viewing we remove all photographs from our computers. The photos are then stored in a safe location, where they cannot be accessed by anyone, apart from ourselves. Unless we are instructed by the client after he or she has received the images to destroy our copies, they will remain in our safe location for the period of two months then will be destroid. No clients photographs can be used by Stephen Wark without formal consent in the way of model release forms signed by the client.

What should I bring for my session?

That answer depends on your photo needs, We do provide a few glamorous wardrobe and the props, but you may bring along any clothing, props and outfits that you may want to include in the photo shoot. Also you could bring along some ideas and samples if you know exactly what you want or have a certain look in mind, even though we see it as our duty to come up with creative ideas and poses, your specific ideas are always welcome, The more ideas we have, the better the results, guaranteed! Also bring a few underwear sets of different colours or bikinis.

Can I bring a friend?

Of course you can bring a friend! Is important that to feel comfortable and safe whilst you are working with us so please feel free to bring a friend along for your own safety and support. We do not advise bringing boyfriends or male partners along as they do tend to come along for the 'wrong' reasons and this can become very uncomfortable for both the model and the photographer. However please feel free to bring any other male or female friend along bearing in mind that some degree of nudity may be involved.
